Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything is processed inside your browser, and your files never leave your device.

Will my photo be accepted?

It depends on the authority. This tool doesn't check the requirements; it only adjusts the size. Confirm the rules on the official page for your application.

What resolution does it have?

300 dots per inch, suitable for printing.

Does it change the photo's background?

It puts a color behind the photo, but it doesn't separate the person from the background. It's best to take the photo against a plain background.

About this tool

It includes common sizes such as 51×51 mm (U.S. visa and passport), 35×45 mm (Schengen, U.K., and others), and 50×70 mm (Canada), plus custom sizes.

The tool only crops, resizes, and sets the background color. It doesn't check that your photo meets the official requirements (face forward, neutral expression, background, lighting). Always check the rules of the authority that asks for the photo.

The 10×15 cm sheet fits several copies so you can print them on standard photo paper.
