Terms of use

Acceptance
By using Convertix, you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Use of the service
The tools are offered free of charge for personal and professional use. You must not use the site for illegal activities or to process files you have no rights to. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions over the files you convert. You must be at least 16 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to infringe the rights of others, to try to damage it or to overload it with mass automated requests. We may restrict access if we detect abusive use.
Advertising and donations
The service is free and is funded by ads and voluntary donations. Donating is optional, does not unlock features and is not payment for the service. Donations are handled by Ko-fi under its own terms.
Availability
We may change, suspend or remove tools from the site at any time, without prior notice.
No warranties
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Although we aim for correct results, we recommend that you always review the generated files and keep the originals. Some files (for example, those with uncommon formats, or that are encrypted or damaged) may not convert correctly.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Convertix will not be liable for losses or damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that the law of your country grants you as a consumer and that cannot be waived.
Intellectual property
Your files remain yours. The site's design, text and code belong to Convertix, except for the open-source libraries used, which keep their own licenses.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico, without prejudice to the rights and legal remedies that the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence grant you.
Languages
The site is available in several languages for convenience. If there is any difference between a translation and the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.
Changes
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the site means you accept the changes.
