Extracting the audio from a video
- Open Extract Audio from a Video to MP3.
- Select your video.
- Choose MP3 or WAV and the quality.
- Download the audio.
The tool uses the codecs of your browser, so it opens the formats your browser can play, usually MP4 and WebM. Some MOV, MKV or AVI files, or videos with uncommon codecs, may not open; in that case try another browser. Very large videos need memory: if the page freezes, use a shorter file.

MP3 or WAV
- MP3 is small and works everywhere; at 192 kbps or higher, the difference from the original is hard to notice.
