  3. Listen to the result on the page and download it, or get them all together in a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Which quality should I choose?

128 kbps for voice, 192 kbps for general use, and 256–320 kbps if you want the best possible quality in MP3.

Why won't my audio file open?

Your browser couldn't read that format. Try Chrome or Edge, or use another copy of the same audio in WAV or MP3.

Are my audio files uploaded to the internet?

No. The conversion happens on your device.

About this tool

The formats you can open depend on your browser. In general, Chrome, Edge and Firefox read WAV, MP3, OGG, OPUS and FLAC without problems. M4A/AAC support depends on your system.

For voice (notes, calls, interviews), 128 kbps is more than enough. For music, 192 kbps or higher is better. Converting an already compressed file (like OGG or M4A) to MP3 doesn't improve its quality; it only changes the format.
