Spreadsheets often hold sensitive data: payroll, inventories, sales. That's why it's best to process them on your own device.
Excel to PDF
Excel to PDF creates a PDF with one table for each sheet. You choose the orientation and font size, and long sheets are spread over several pages.
Important: the result is a simple table with the text and numbers. It doesn't keep colors, borders, images, charts or merged cells. If you need the exact layout, print to PDF from Excel itself.
Combine Excel Files
Combine Excel Files merges several .xlsx, .xls or .csv files into a single workbook. Each sheet from each file is added with the file's name, and values and formulas are kept. Some special formats, charts or macros may not carry over. It also doesn't merge the rows of several tables into one sheet: each one stays separate.
Converting between formats
- CSV to Excel and Excel to CSV to move data to other systems.
- Excel to JSON and JSON to Excel to work with app data.
- The JSON formatter validates the code and tells you where the error is.
Tips
- Clean up the headers before converting.
- Check the resulting file; date formats can change between programs.
- If you share the PDF, consider protecting it with a password.
